Have they changed that in the last couple of months? That's actually nothing to do with the actual plot. It's a joke based around a war over an armoured bear champion. Apparently it was some sort of meme, and the Riot member Zileas was against armoured bears.

Got home last night and started up a game as part of a 3 man premade with two friends. I picked Graves and proceeded to bot lane with Soraka against Teemo and Fiora. We demolished them and took the tower before we even hit 6. Good times. The rest of the game continued in a similar fashion, and before long their top and bottom inhibitors were gone and we attempted to regroup to either push bot or take Baron.
